First post on a fresh, new site. I feel introductions are in order.

Hi! I’m Daniel. This is my site. I write stuff, and I draw stuff, and I’m working very hard to turn that into a career (full time, part time, really any time). As of now, I am looking for representation (yes, the dreaded query process) for my Middle-Grade novel, Tiger Boat and Captain Goat. It’s the first book of a trilogy of which I am in draft mode for books 2 and 3. Besides that, I have an on-deck list of projects in the works mostly in Middle-Grade and YA fiction.

Here’s a couple of things about me you might not know:

1. I’m American but live in Germany (since 2007 even!)
2. I have a son who is 9, draws really well, likes video games and talking all sarcastic-like
3. I’m a multi-instrumentalist and have a home studio where I record music for my alt/indie rock solo project, K_KID
4. I’m 41 going on 82
5. I’m more of a cat person, but I like dogs just fine
6. I love, love me some horror
7. I like being in the woods, but not really camping
8. I’m always hungry… always
9. I lived and worked in Japan for a little while
10. My favorite author is Haruki Murakami
